Athlon Optics Midas Binoculars

These are my favorite binoculars, I always have them nearby.
They are waterproof with a magnesium alloy chassis. Lenses are made of ED Glass to avoid chromatic fringe with inside the binocular, ESP dielectric coating, phase corrected prisms and Bak-4 glass prisms to reflect more than 90% of the light.
On the outside of the lenses, XPL coating protects again scratches.

Thanks to the lifetime warranty, the binoculars are repaired or replaced at no charge in case of defect of damage. Plus, no receipt or registration is required for the warranty.
At first, the price may appear to be rather steep, but considering the quality and lifetime warranty, this is rather a great value.

Garmin Virb Ultra 30

I was waiting for the new action cam from Garmin and it is really cool!
The Virb Ultra 30 captures 4K video at 30 frames per second, or 1080p at 120fps, as well as 12 megapixel still images, saved to a microSD card.

This action cam has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and ANT+ to pair with external sensors from Garmin such as cycling sensors, heart rate monitors, flight pitch and roll sensors, boat wind speed. There is even voice control. "OK Garmin start recording", "stop recording" which is a very useful feature to control the camera while cycling, skying, etc.
And since this is a Garmin camera, it has GPS, barometer, compass, accelerometer. The data can be overlayed onto video with an app.
The "Expansive Mode" transforms 4:3 images into 16:9 format. On the back, the LCD is a touchscreen.
The touchscreen even works with the waterproof case which has water-repellant and anti-glare lens on the case, plus the high-sensivity microphone works with the case.
There are apps for remote control, YouTube livestreaming and Facebook upload.
I am really impressed with this new action cam.
